Students learning English have the additional challenge of developing literacy skills while also working to become proficient with a new language system. Fortunately, the same evidence-based practices that work for struggling monolingual readers are also effective for multilingual students. In this session we’ll explore what additional considerations are needed to provide specialized instruction for our EL students. It is recommended that participants attend the SoR Part 1 session on September 7.
