Join Melissa Gill for an engaging session designed to empower educators with effective, research-based strategies for phonics instruction to support multilingual students. This session will use UFLI as the example program, but the methods can be applied to any phonics program. This K–6 focused workshop will explore how using a structured and systematic approach to phonics supports all learners, especially ML students. Participants will gain practical insights, hands-on examples, and resources to implement immediately in their classrooms. Whether you're new to phonics instruction or looking to deepen your explicit instructional practice, this session offers valuable tools to boost reading success for every student.
