Description
Adolescent readers need more than isolated strategies—they need explicit, intentional instruction that strengthens vocabulary, background knowledge, fluency, and analytical thinking. In this session, participants will explore practical, research-aligned approaches to improving comprehension in high school classrooms across content areas. Learn how to move beyond surface-level strategy instruction and design lessons that build deep understanding, engagement, and measurable impact for all learners. This session will be hosted by Eastern Howard School Corporation.
