~PD Pop: The Role of Read Alouds in the SoR (PreK-8) - Presented by Molly Ness

Based on Dr. Ness’s 2023 book Read Alouds for All Learners, we focus on maximizing the potential of read alouds across the content areas, by building background knowledge, carving time for Text Talk as a model of vocabulary instruction, and thinking aloud to build comprehension. We focus on how read alouds build language comprehension and the newest data around read aloud trends, benefits, and roles. This live session will be recorded and shared with all registrants afterwards.
